My name is Kim and I am writing this with a heart that never imagined it would have to tell a story like this.

My son Theo has been diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. Hearing those words shattered our world in an instant. One moment we were living our normal life, making plans and dreaming about the future, and the next we were thrown into a reality filled with a hospital room , medical terms we never wanted to learn, and fear that never truly leaves.

Since his diagnosis, our days and nights have been consumed by living in the hospital ,treatments, scans, and endless waiting.

Watching your child go through pain, discomfort, and exhaustion while being powerless to take it away is something no parent should ever have to experience. And yet, through all of this, my son continues to show a strength and courage that amazes me every single day. Even when he is scared or tired, he still finds ways to smile moments likes these are what keep me going.

As a mother, my entire focus is on being by his side — comforting him, advocating for him, and making sure he feels safe and loved through every step of this fight. At the same time, I am also caring for my daughter ,doing everything I can to keep her life as stable and loving as possible while our family is going through this unimaginable time. Balancing hospital life with being present for her has been incredibly difficult, both emotionally and physically.

Along with the emotional weight of this journey comes a financial burden that has become overwhelming. Travel expenses to childcare needs, and basic living costs have quickly added up. These are worries no family should have to carry while fighting for their child’s life.

I am reaching out for help because I cannot do this alone. The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, transportation, childcare support, and daily necessities so I can remain focused on caring for both of my children without the constant fear of how we will make it through financially.
