King of Nowt - A Working Class Comedy

In our final year at the Northern Film School, our hard working crew have been given an exciting opportunity to film a short comedy based in Leeds. Making its way through a tough selection process, our film King of Nowt is in pre-production with new and exciting developments being made every day.

Synopsis. 
Following a self-help book, Richard's journey toward emotional prosperity sees his circumstances grow hilariously worse with each step he follows.

 

A Leeds based working class comedy.

They say "Write what you know", so that's exactly what I did.

Taking experiences from a working class upbringing, the writer charmingly illustrates the grit and determination of working class Yorkshire.
