SYNOPSIS

King of Kaz is a 10-minute slice-of-life comedy following MARC BLAINE (20s), the self-proclaimed “King” of Kazabazua, Quebec, who has big dreams of bringing glory to his small town. In a village of less than 1500 people, Marc is a staple of Kaz - you can find him biking up and down the highway, helping old ladies cross the street, or picking up a fresh can of beans from the local “Binerie”. Though Marc has a big heart and a laundry list of good intentions, the rest of the townspeople tend not to take him seriously.

Everything changes when Marc meets BENOIT (20s), the librarian working the circulation desk who reveals top-secret information about the comet set to fly over Kazabazua in three days time. With no time to lose, the two band together to rally the townspeople, racing against the clock in a last-ditch effort to put Kaz on the map and prove that their town isn’t as small as it seems.
