For Every Child Taken Too Soon – Honor Gael aka JP
“For every child taken too soon, we rise together — turning grief into purpose and loss into action for humanity.”

About JP
Our beloved Gael aka JP, only 16 years old, tragically passed away on 28 September 2025 in Saskatoon, Canada. Two men have been charged in connection with his death.
His passing has shattered our family. Those who loved and raised him — his mother, grandparents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and cousins — remain in Mauritius and the UK, unable to be by his side. A family should never be separated by borders in a moment of grief.

As his father, I, Olivier Pierre, am asking for your support to bring our family together so we can lay JP to rest with love, unity, and dignity.

Why Your Support Matters
Funds will go toward:
Travel and visa costs for his closest family in Mauritius
Emergency support during this grieving period
Funeral and family reunion arrangements
Registration of the KING JP Foundation, ensuring his legacy protects other families facing tragedy abroad

About the KING JP Foundation (in formation)
The KING JP Foundation’s mission:
Uphold family unity and compassion
Support families separated by borders during times of tragedy
Promote justice and protection for children and vulnerable youth
No family should be divided by borders when saying goodbye. No child should be lost to preventable violence.

Human Value Clause
JP’s death reveals systemic failures. The KING JP Foundation advocates for a Human Value Clause in Canadian law, which will:
Ensure human dignity comes before bureaucracy
Reconcile the rights of immigrants with Canadian law and Indigenous justice principles
Guarantee children and families are never abandoned by systemic failure
Provide immediate support for families facing cross-border tragedies
Integrate restorative justice and community-centered solutions
Establish accountability mechanisms for institutions affecting children and families

“The Human Value Clause ensures that families are united, life is protected, and justice is guided by compassion, dignity, and reconciliation — across borders, cultures, and systems.”

Action Plan – Humanity First
The KING JP Foundation will implement a Human Values & Crime Resilience Program:
Advocate legal reforms embedding human dignity and family protection
Provide youth violence prevention and early intervention programs
Support families navigating legal, immigration, and institutional barriers
Deliver emergency aid and grief counselling
Raise community awareness on justice, safety, and family unity
Why This Mission Matters – In Memory of JP
JP was a young soul still growing, learning, and searching for his place in the world. Born a citizen of Mauritius, he left at just 10 years old to live with his family abroad. He later became a British citizen and grew up believing he was a child of the world. He embraced Canada and truly loved it as his home.

Yet despite his love for this country and his efforts to build a future here, systems still failed him. His story carries a painful truth: young lives are being lost not just to violence, but to the deep failures of institutions meant to protect them.

We refuse to let his memory be forgotten. Every action we take honors JP’s life and ensures no other child is abandoned by bureaucracy, borders, or neglect.

Join Us
We know that no campaign can bring JP back. But together, we can honor his memory by healing as a family, supporting each other through grief, and building a safer world for children everywhere.

Every donation — no matter the amount — helps us reunite our family, provide care during this difficult time, and advance the work of the KING JP Foundation to protect children and families from preventable tragedy.

If you cannot donate, please share this campaign . Your support spreads hope, strengthens justice, and ensures JP’s legacy lives on.
