Kindra's house fire recovery fund

In Santa Rosa, California, in the early morning hours of October 9th, my niece, Kindra Hess, was awakened and told to immediately evacutate the area, as a raging fire was fast approaching.  She only had time to grab her cat and a neighbor's dog before she could jump in her car and escape.  She and hundreds of her neighbors had barely made it to safety by the time the entire neighborhood was incinerated.

Kindra has lost everything.  Every sentimental possesion, every piece of furniture and every piece of clothing: gone.

Kindra isn't alone.  Thousands of others in Sonoma and Napa Counties are are going through the same sad experience.  They all need help in one form or another.

Whatever you can do to help Kindra get back on her feet will be greatly appreciated.

[Disclosure: I am Kindra's uncle, Michael Murphey, originally from Santa Rosa, California.  I currenlty live between Los Angeles and Cape Town, South Africa.  Kindra will spend any donated funds to purchase closing and household items and to generally get her life in order.]
