On October 9, the Tubbs wildfire in northern CA destroyed the home of Ammishaddai Israel and her daughter Pure. Ammishaddai's daughter, Cherish, and her dear friend, Clarity, both wanted to create a GoFundMe for them, so they combined their efforts to appeal to our loving community for support.
"My mother and our beloved friend, Ammishaddai Kindness Israel, has been deeply displaced by a devastating wildfire. Our beautiful family home of almost 10 years has been completely destroyed. Nothing remains and nothing was salvaged. My mom and my sister Pure lost everything. Any support and assistance you are able to give will be greatly appreciated as she and our family rebuilds. Love and light." ~Cherish Israel
"Dear friends, a beloved family in our community is in serious need of our help right now. The Tubbs fire tragically took the home of Ammishaddai and Pure Israel. Their place was always a welcome haven to those in need. They literally lost everything but the clothes on their backs. All of you who know them know that they would share their very last possession with those in need. Through this whole tragedy, these women have exhibited gratitude even in the face of losing everything. Please give anything you can, knowing that you are helping a family who has housed, clothed and fed probably 100 different people over the last many years. They are some of the most loving, thoughtful, caring and generous humans on the planet. Please dig as deep as you can and help this beautiful family rebuild their lives. Much love and gratitude to you all!" ~Clarity Skoglund
GoFundMe requires that a goal amount be set. We are hoping to raise at least $20,000 to help them begin to create a new home and rebuild their lives. They have to start from scratch finding a new place to live as well as all the all basics including furniture, dishes and cookware, clothing, bedding, etc., and a car as well. Thank you!
