Hello, my name is Erinn Demilio and I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend, Diane Felice (Rice) on behalf of her children Jason, Joe and Susan. Diane is a bright spot in many of our lives. Her smile and laughter are infectious. She would do anything for anyone around her. Now it's time for us to rally around her.

On Thursday, December 29th, Diane had a stroke. Thankfully she was with her son, Jason, and was taken by ambulance to Wilson hospital. She had immediate surgery to remove the clot. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful and bleeding was found on her brain. She has a stent in her brain to remove the blood clot and reduce swelling. Diane tested positive for the flu and has lots of mucus built up in her lungs that she cannot cough up on her own. She has been temporarily placed on a ventilator to help with her breathing, as well as decrease the pressure on the brain. She has an NG tube for her feedings and meds. Currently, she is slightly sedated and somewhat responsive but keeps fighting like the woman we know she is in the ICU!

Diane is the sole provider for her bills and home and we would like to assure her responsibilities are maintained. She will no doubt have medical bills to cover as well as future rehab needs. She has a long journey ahead of her and will need continued support.

Her incredible family, especially her children, Jason Rice, Joe Rice (Heather) and Sue Rice (John), and stepchildren Kim Hunt, Lori DeLucia, Kelly O'Connor and Gina Felice, and her grandchildren have rallied around her. She is surrounded by so much love from those near and far! Please consider a donation to make this situation a bit easier.
