From 26th October to 1st November 2026, all nine Summersalt locations across Australia are coming together for our annual Kindness For The Kids event.

This year, we’re raising funds to support the incredible Special Olympics athletes at Summersalt Grovedale in Geelong, Victoria.

For more than 25 years, the Grovedale community has provided people with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to participate in gymnastics, build confidence, friendships and fitness, and experience the joy of being part of a team. Because gymnastics is about so much more than just cool skills. It is about building confidence, resilience, connection, independence and a sense of belonging.

For many of these athletes, participating in sport can come with additional support, equipment and participation costs. Funds raised will go directly towards costs for these athletes and their families, helping with competition fees, uniform upgrades where possible and other participation related expenses. No funds raised will go towards Summersalt profit.

Kindness For The Kids is also about teaching and reminding our members about the importance of kindness, inclusion and looking out for others, and showing them just how much impact one small act of kindness can have.

We also want to use KFTK to raise awareness about inclusive sport and explore how we can create more inclusive gymnastics opportunities across Summersalt, so more athletes and families can experience the confidence, connection, friendship and joy that comes from being part of a team.
