Kindness for Kirby Family
I am Margaret Psarros, a school principal. On behalf of the Kirby family, I am fundraising to help with expenses regarding their son Travis Kirby's care for his diagnosis of cancer. Travis was diagnosed in early August 2021 with medulloblastoma, a very aggressive cancer that was found in the back of his brain. Travis will be undergoing at least 6 weeks of treatment in Chicago, including radiation and possibly chemotherapy. During this time his family will be staying with him, incurring room, board and travel expenses.
Travis, the youngest of 3 boys in his family, just graduated from Purdue University in December 2020 in business and sales. He is a Bears and Cubs fan. He stays active playing basketball, soccer, golf, and softball. He loves his family and friends. He is easy to be around and gets along with everyone.
Travis' father is a police officer, working as a safety resource officer in schools most of the year. He is a great man who cares deeply for his family, other's children, and his community. Diann is a technician who administers cat scans and MRIs to patients. She is kind and loving and raised her boys to be as well.
His older brothers, Tyler and Kiernan are devastated to see their little brother going through such a hardship at the start of his adult life.
Please help us in supporting this family during this very difficult time.
