Kindness for Florida - Hurricane Ian Relief

Tax deductible
We are brothers Aaron and Nate Davis from Plant City, Florida. We need your help raising funds for the Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Unit to continue delivering aid to those who were hit hardest by Hurricane Ian. We've gone to Southwest Florida to help, but we can do much more with your support!

I, Aaron, was reunited with an old Plant City friend who told me about the Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Unit's work helping Floridians devastated by Hurricane Ian. Right away, I talked to my brother Nate, and we knew we had to do something to help everyone struggling after the storm.

So, Nate and I immediately traveled to Port Charlotte to lend a helping hand. We witnessed firsthand the damage caused by Hurricane Ian and jumped into action by purchasing 30 Stihl chainsaws from I-4 Power Equipment in Plant City. Then we got the chainsaws in the hands of kind volunteers to start clearing out the devastated areas.

Once we arrived, we found the Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Unit was already on the scene, making a huge impact with their own relief efforts. And we knew we could help even more people by combining our efforts. Adding your donation to this fundraiser will help us achieve even more!

The Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Unit, led by my good buddy Richard Rigdon, had boots on the ground at Murdock Baptist Church. Within one week of the storm hitting land, the Relief Unit prepared more than 70,000 meals and organized hundreds of volunteers to provide food, shelter, water, and labor. They ran chainsaws, cleaned up debris, tarped roofs, and much more.

But they need our help to continue providing relief to those in need.

The Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief is a 501(c)(3) and amazing charitable organization. Supporting them by donating to this GoFundMe page is the best way to help the people in Southwest Florida heal and rebuild.

Please help us to raise critical funds by contributing to the Florida Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Unit to help these good people get back on their feet. Your donation will support this vital recovery work and help this community rebound from the storm's devastating impacts.
