My name is Sairam Balaji, and I’m writing this from the United States for my beloved aunt, a woman who has loved me like her own son since I was little. She’s the kind of person who always puts others first, the one who holds the family together, the one who makes everyone feel seen and cared for. Seeing her now in this condition while I’m thousands of miles away is heartbreaking beyond words.

A few weeks ago, our family received devastating news. After months of pain and tests, doctors confirmed that her cancer has spread to her liver, bones, and lungs. She’s now fighting metastatic adenocarcinoma, a late-stage form that requires urgent and ongoing treatment. The medical report attached below confirm how severe this is.

Every day, my family in India is trying to stay strong, but the medical bills are overwhelming. Chemotherapy, radiation, and targeted therapy are incredibly expensive, and the costs have already gone far beyond what we can manage.
