Help This Kind 81 Year Old!

My name is Kay Grantham and I am determined to help my friend Sharon. She is 81 and can only get around using a cane. She has no family and lives alone. Her income is from Social Security as she worked her whole life.

The last storm we had here damaged her roof. The insurance adjuster looked at it and said they will not cover the damage because the whole roof is rotten. Then they cancelled her policy. She still owes $31,000 on her house. Raccoons are coming into her house through the hole in the roof and wreaking havoc. They know how to open the refrigerator door. They have trashed her house entirely. It was already in disrepair since she is unable to do even minor upkeep, but it is really bad now. She has to keep her cat food in her car to keep it from the raccoons.

Her car is another story. She can never afford anything but a junker. The last one had a problem with the emergency brake and ruined the two back tires. Sharon is the kindest, big-hearted person who loves all animals. She has volunteered with Rescue Groups as long as I've known her and rescued hundreds of animals. Now she needs rescuing! We want to put her home back in a good condition so she can stay there.
