Kindergarten is a time full of wonder, curiosity, adventure, and change. This year I will be launching a project-based learning approach to education in my classroom. This approach requires technology to allow students to engage in critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, communication, self-directed learning, and research. Village Academy (VA) Kindergarteners are bright, motivated, loving, and filled with a passion for learning. Most are also low-income, under resourced, learning English as a second language and negatively impacted by the digital divide. 

For children in low-income school districts, inadequate access to technology can hinder them from learning the skills that are crucial to success in today’s economy.
