Kin Fong - tribute, support, & saying "thanks man"

Husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, friend, overall good guy.
If you're reading this, you're likely one of those listed. But if you aren't, then there is no shortage of words or anecdotes to be told for you to consider him for at least one of those. He may have been my actual brother, but I know he was a brother to many others.
Kin was a big guy (for an Asian dude) with an even bigger heart. Thoughtful, kind, caring and helpful is just the tip of the mountain of Kin. He was always on the lookout to help with other peoples' needs where he thinks he can help, even sometimes when he can't. He'd typically greet people with a smile and just be pleasant or happy -- even if he was in pain if he could help it. There are many of us, especially younger or peers, that would look to him for his strength and guidance when we needed him, and he'd always be there.
Kin was a proud and stand up guy. I don't know if he'd necessarily approve of this GoFundMe for him, but I'm doing it anyway because someone suggested to me that this could be a way for people to share gratitude for him. He was never really one for the spotlight, but he is far overdue for one. So if you feel like you need something to say "thanks man", maybe "get yourself a beer", or "man, you done a lot for me, just rest in peace" or something else, here it is.
The funds will go toward the memorial service (if any) and burial. Any excess will go to help the surviving wife, Jane, with daily expenses -- Kin would greatly appreciate that.
If this is not your way, don't sweat it, Kin will just pretend to give you a hard time but in reality, he understands.
