I know that there are more deserving people out there that need help but it’s help that I could use also. A year and a half ago I suffered from a nervous breakdown which led me to a week long stay in a mental health facility. Today I am still struggling with severe bipolar depression and anxiety. I have not been able to return to work since my initial breakdown last year. I do have medical insurance but unfortunately my deductible is $6,000. Because of my stay at the facility last year and all of my doctor visits this year, I am now almost $7000. In medical debt. I’m trying to keep up my payments to the hospital and doctors, but I’m also supporting my family of six on long term disability which is only 60% of my actual pay.
