On Tuesday, October 13th my world was rocked when there was a lump found in my left breast. The next day I went to my Doctor and was immediately sent in for a mammogram and sonogram. They said it looked suspicious and scheduled 3 biopsy's (2 in my breast and 1 lymph node) to be done later that day. Thursday they called with the results to confirm my worst fears that I had breast cancer. Friday met with my Nurse Navigator and surgeon, and more tests were ordered (Bone Scan, CT, MRI & Genetic Testing). I go back on Monday October 24th to meet with the oncologist and begin to learn our plan of attack.
