Kim’s recurrent Ovarian Cancer Journey

Donation protected
Hi Friends & Family, on Dec 8th it was confirmed that Kim’s cancer was back as metastatic carcinoma in the inguinal lymph nodes. We were shocked, devastated and quite frankly scared to death. Kim will be having surgery to remove several lymph nodes on Saturday Dec 17th. They will give her 4-6 weeks to recover before she begins 15-33 rounds of radiation. This treatment will require her to stay in Springfield each week for the duration since radiation will be done daily. After radiation is compete she will then begin chemo every 3 weeks for a total of 6 rounds. As you can imagine we are gearing up for a long lengthy battle.

We also haven’t shared with many people that I lost my job on Oct 12th so the financial strain and stress has been exacerbated by this. Thankfully I signed my new offer letter with a great company with a start date of Jan 3rd.

All donations will go for traveling to and from Springfield, hotel/Airbnb stay for radiation and the new medical bills that are coming in.

We love and appreciate each of you. Please keep those prayer coming!

Much Love,
Jeni Canaday
