March 1st 2021 @ 2:15pm my girlfriend Kim DM'd me via social media with a message that simply stated "I'm homeless". My response "HUH?  You can't just start a conversation off like that" That's when she sent me the picture of the firefighters working on her now condemned building. 


My first thought and question was is everyone ok and out of harm's way? My second was "Oh no KIMs' CLOSET!" Kim is a very stylish fashionista. Her creativity is expressed by her style. Her artistry is displayed in her fashion.
Unfortunately a neighbor left a candle burning unattended and the entire building caught fire. Including all important documents and "4 CLOSETS WORTH OF CLOTHES" 

As I encouraged Kim to remain focused on what she can control and not to panic or worry about things out of her control I started to think....Keeping calm and solution orientated I immediately asked myself how can I help. What can we do? Kim expressed not wanting to start a go fund me. However I'm a believer in team work and I figure why not? While she sorts her thoughts out why not work on collectively giving her an immediate financial blessing. She's one of the most supportive women I know so she's more than deserving. Whether it's $1 or $100 please don't hesitate to help.
