My family needs help getting my beautiful mother (Kim Willis) the proper burial she deserves. Her wish to be buried in her home city of Detroit is one we will be unable to fulfill. She always specified she wanted to be buried and not cremated, this portion of her wishes we can and will uphold (thanks in part to your donations).

We believed we had more time with her, she proved many times how much strength rested inside of her, as my father (Scott Lawson) spent his days at her side. Through multiple medical mishaps she defied the odds, carried on and stayed with us.

The costs to facilitate a funeral and moving her to another state are outside of our means and are definitely complicated by the length of time she spent in the hospital.

My mom (Kim Willis) was always the first to offer a helping hand to others. Her heart and smile were always easy on others, offering acceptance and grace. We are crushed by her loss and want to honor her memory through fulfilling her last wish on this journey.

Any amount or kind memories, thoughts, or moments you wish to share about this very special woman will make a difference and an impact on the lives of us left with the sound of her voice to echo her unforgettable laugh and voice. Big Willy Style needs the send off she deserves! ♡
