Hey guys! My name is Jayde, Kim and I have been friends since 7th grade when we realized that we were both just as weird as the other.....and since then have held each other's hands through break ups, divorces, marriages, children, surgeries......the list truly goes on and on. It's usually her there for me. And not just for me.....she donates her hair, her blood, she donates to fundraisers, she and her wife hauled water up to Northern Arizona during the heatwave. She gives of herself all the time, not boasting about it......just doing it.

When Kim asked if I could talk one Sunday...I never in a million years thought the words that would come out of her mouth would be "I have Leukemia". We cried together but to be honest we mostly laughed because that's what we do.

I knew immediately that I wanted to set up a GoFundMe because we don't know what these next 3 years will hold while she is on chemo. There may be days that she doesn't feel well enough to work and has to take yet another day off. And her amazing wife Marisol is going to want to be right by her side because no matter what.....this is scary.....and they shouldn't have to worry about where the money is going to come from if they both have to miss a day. There are Dr appointments that they will both be going to, again, time off for them. And who knows what else may be thrown at them in the next 3 years, medically.

Marisol is an amazing woman and I don't think I could have hand-picked a better person to be by my best friend's side to take care of her! So if this can help take a little bit of the stress off of her as well, so she can go to the appointments and be home for her.....then it's the least I can do.
