Hi all, my name is Harry

First of all, for those who I know and those I don’t know and are here to donate, I cannot thank you enough for your support to something so close to my family and I.

For a back story, my Mum (Kim) was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma (the most aggressive form of brain cancer) in 2020 and managed to overcome the initial 9 month survival rate. However, midway through last year, the tumour came back and there was nothing we could do besides continuing to support her till the end. She fought so bravely but passed away surrounded by her loved ones in February aged 55.

May is an important month for our family, being both her birthday month and brain cancer awareness. That is why I’ve decided to dedicate a charity match for her as she would spend her Saturday’s coming down to watch me play weekly.

The money you donate today will be split equally to two charities dear to our family’s hearts.

The Brain Cancer Group: 

This group of Medical Oncologists, Radiology Oncologists and Neurosurgeons were Mum’s primary medical care team for the last 5 years. They provide research, education and support, improving outcomes for brain cancer patients.

The Peace of Mind Foundation:

This group fill the void in supportive care for brain tumour patients and their loved ones. They helped our family navigate a maze of bureaucracy and helped secure in-home care for Mum when we needed it most.

If you are able to get behind this as much as possible that would be fantastic. I understand $25 is a lot for some people but I promise you it is going to two amazing causes that go directly to supporting families who are going through the difficult process of support like mine did and get them the help they need.
