With our hearts in our hands, we are reaching out to everyone to help Kimmy with her battle with breast cancer.

At the young age of 33 Kimmy was given the heartbreaking news that she has stage 2B invasive ductal carcinoma (Metastatic Adenocarcinoma breast cancer). Kimmy’s treatment will include extensive chemotherapy treatments followed by a double mastectomy, radiation, and hormone therapy.

As you can imagine the news of having cancer is a heavy load to carry, but that she will lose both of her breasts, her hair, and her fingernails- has taken a toll on her emotionally and it is just the beginning of her journey.

With her doctor’s aggressive treatment plan, Kimmy will most likely be out of work for more than a year. On top of her normal bills, she will also be paying for her fertility shots with every chemo session, several different drugs to counteract the harsh side effects of chemo and radiation, recovery from surgery and hormone therapy pills.

All of this adds up over time even with insurance, and with her not being able to work due to the severity of her treatment plan we are asking for donations to help her.

The pain and destruction caused by cancer are incredibly sad but if you’ve ever met Kimmy has decided that she will listen to her specialist’s advice and enter this battle like a true warrior.

Kimmy is one of the kindest souls I have had the pleasure of calling my friend. She gives her all to everyone around her and is so full of this energy that is uplifting to be around. She really does live life to the fullest and encourages everyone around her to be the best they can be.
