Heart & Hands: Yoga for a Cause
This February, we're headed to rebuild a primary school in Nicaragua and giving its students a healthier, happier place to learn and grow.
But making change requires funding, and we'd love your support to reach our $5k goal: can you help bring this project to life?

This two-day school renovation is called an Extreme School Makeover: together we'll transform the school from top to bottom in a weekend, working alongside local members and students to paint the walls, garden, provide new learning materials, paint murals and help with basic improvements that will create a better learning environment for years to come.

Where Funds Go:
Your generous donations benefit Ushwara, a nonprofit organization dedicated to social change via tangible impact projects and transformational, educational travel experiences.
The on-the-ground implementing partner Glasswing International has completed hundreds of these school projects in the past 10 years, with a philosophy of improving on existing infrastructures rather than building new ones. Their concept is simple: foster change by investing in a community’s existing resources – its infrastructure and its people.
We are raising $5,000 to cover all supplies, materials, and tools needed to transform the school in a weekend.
We'll take photos and videos of the school and students, so you can see exactly where your generous donations went!
