Kimi's Beloved Cat Bushes Needs Our Help

Hi everyone,

My name is Kimi, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet cat, Bushes. She is 10 years old and the absolute love of my life. Right now, she’s unwell, and I need help getting her the medical care she desperately needs.

Bushes requires nearly $3,000 in urgent dental work and diagnostic tests. She has a recurring dental infection, which I believe may be causing her current illness, but I need to get her properly examined to know for sure.

Her health has been fragile ever since 2017 when she survived a hit-and-run accident that left her with a fractured skull and a broken jaw. She had surgery to repair her jaw, but it healed permanently off-center, leaving her with her signature “permanent blep”—a little tongue that always sticks out. It’s just one of the many things that makes her so special.

Bushes and her sister, Cholula, are my entire world. They have been my constant source of love and support, especially after my recent split from my partner of over a decade. As I navigate life as a single cat parent on a limited income, I’m doing everything I can to care for them, but this unexpected medical expense is more than I can handle alone.
