Hey! I'm Kim, an opera singer currently in grad school at Bard College with Dawn Upshaw's Vocal Arts Program. I'm also the founder and coordinator of OperaRox and the connecting opera company, OperaRox Presents.
This is my first winter with a medical condition and the cold weather has hit me hard. With school and my health issues, it has been really hard to get steady work. I do as much as I can, but I need some help. I have medication and doctor visits to pay for; I only have my school's medical insurance, so things can get pricey.
If I reach my goal, I won't have to worry for the next 3 months. No worries about money for medication = less stress for me, more time to work on my opera, and more time to rest my body. This would be a huge help to me! Even just $1 will help at this point.
