Hey, COTI church family, let's join together to bless Wendell and Hahna to help them cover some (or all) of the moving costs to Michigan! (**your participation is personal in nature, and independent of giving to the church.)
Our beloved Wendell Kimbrough has decided to embark on a new venture in his ministry and career development. Wendell plans to enroll this fall in the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan, in order to train as a licensed professional counselor.
This is a full-time, in-person program, so the Kimbrough’s will be moving to Michigan at the end of August.
We all know what an extraordinarily gifted person Wendell is. The MACM program at Western Seminary will enable him to train as a licensed counselor in order to develop that ministry more fully in the years ahead.
The move to Western will also give Hahna Kimbrough the opportunity to pursue an M.Div. seminary degree, as she embarks on the next phase of her own career.
The whole church has been inspired by Wendell’s worship leadership and songwriting, including many beautiful settings of the Psalms that we sing on Sunday mornings.
This news is a source of real sadness, as we will miss Wendell, Hahna, and their girls very much. At the same time, we join with the Kimbrough’s in their excitement and gratitude for this new adventure that God has called them to undertake as his disciples.
Wendell’s last Sunday will be August 11.
