Less than 4 months ago, Kimberly, our beloved mother, sister, cousin, niece and dear friend to others, was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer. This very aggressive cancer has spread throughout her body - including her brain, kidneys, and liver.

Since her diagnosis, Fox Chase Cancer Center has been the exclusive provider of her radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and Lumakras (targeted therapy) treatments.

Unfortunately, despite the medical staff’s efforts, they all have proven unsuccessful. It has been determined that her condition is terminal and a hospice facility is best suited to care for her. At the time of this writing (1/4/2022), Kimberly's life expectancy is a few weeks to one month.

To those of us who love and adore her, Kimberly is easily the funniest, most loving, most caring person this side of heaven. At only 47 years young, with her next birthday on January 5th, she is a proud mother of 2 and has spent twenty years in the health-care field. As the end nears, she will be leaving behind a son, a daughter, and 2 grandchildren that she actively supported. She will be sorely missed.

So it is with a very heavy heart that we, Kimberly's family, ask for your financial support to help cover the cost of the unexpected obligation of ensuring the most comfortable life for Kimberly before she makes her final transition. Your donation will assist us with covering the cost of her end-of-life expenses, which include but are not limited to, hospice care, prescription medication, and funeral service(s).
