Kimberly’s Fight with Cervical Cancer

In September 2024, our mom went in for her routine MRI for her lower back and neck. A few spots were suspicious and were followed with a biopsy. Coming back as both cancerous and pre-cancerous cells. Doctors have expressed they are feeling confident in her treatment but are still looking for the primary source. She’s done many in-office and outpatient procedures, and so far everything is pointing in the direction of cervical cancer.

She will be receiving treatment at Stanford’s Cancer Center, and with that, we have high hope in her treatment team. To help with the stress of travel, they will be staying in Palo Alto for the duration of treatment. She will have radiation daily, Monday-Friday and chemotherapy on Thursdays.

Both our mom and Eric will be taking leave from work, making bills, medical expenses, and additional finances hard. We would love for them to go through this without the stress of finances as much as possible. If you know our family, we are the last to ask for help, but first to offer ours.
