Kimberly's Brain Surgery (aka MommaBev)

Kimberly/MommaBev/Kim has helped so many of us through the years. Now it is our time to help her. She is having brain surgery at the end of March. She has the best doctors, the best support system, and the best attitude. What she doesn't have is the disposable income to pay $10K++ for the surgery (who does?!) Please help us help her with the medical expenses. I've posted below her own words of how she found herself here, including how "Louise" hitched a ride. (Important to note - SHE is not asking for help. She would never. That is why she has super special people in her life that will go to bat for her. Thanks Jerry for putting me in charge of your idea!)

"'Louise' is coming out of my head March 28th! I have a cystic tumor that is the size of my fingertip on my Pineal Gland that is located right in the middle of the 2 brain hemispheres. I have migraines from hell, so dizzy I can’t drive some days, pressure in my head that will start to push the cerebral fluid out of my head. I’ve gotten lost driving home, fallen, and my ears have been ringing off the hook since last May. I can’t concentrate at times and I can’t find words I want to say. I was fine one day and then I was not. But I show up everyday and give my all. I found out what this was back in September and have been just sitting with it since then. I searched and found one of a small handful of neurosurgeons(only about 6 in the world)that will remove this. Luckily the doctor pioneering this surgery was in the states and in Charleston. I met with him Friday along, with my 2 best friends, and he said he would do surgery if I wanted. YES! I’ll be coming back down to Charleston end of March to stay for a couple of weeks after surgery. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes- they worked!!! I have no fear of this surgery. I’m looking forward to getting myself back. It’s been a really tough time since May. So now we get ready…. Come on yet another journey with me."
