My daughter, Kimberly, age 45, single, has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She is facing 4-6 weeks out of work at a minimum, and medical bills that her insurance will not pay. She will need to continue to pay her insurance premiums, car payments and other personal expenses as well as possible chemo and radiation that her health insurance doesn't pay in full. Her surgery for a radical hysterectomy is scheduled for February 15, 2016. She will need out of pocket expenses that have already started to come in almost immediately.
She has already faced possible breast cancer, and will need mamograms every 6 months as she has "crystals" that could develop into cancer anytime. She is already attempting to pay back the hospital and doctor for expenses she incurred during biopsies on both breast.
As her father and I are retired and on fixed incomes, we are able to assist her only a small amount. We will be so greatful for any assistance you feel lead to give. Thank you so much. This is in God's hands and we pray that she will be able to get through this without being seriously in debt.
