Hi, my name is Adrian Haynes. Doris Suggs, myself, Greater New Prospect MB Church and other members of our congregation are having a fundraiser to help Kimberly Griffin - Reed. 

On April 1, 2022 Kim woke up and could not get out of the bed. One month later after several tests and an MRI, she was diagnosed with deteriorating bone disease. 

In Kim’s own words - “I woke up on April 1 and couldn’t get out of bed. One month later after several tests and an MRI, I was diagnosed with a deteriorating bone. I have under gone a major surgery. A four hour surgery turned into 9 1/2 hour surgery. They found out once they were in, that my vertebrae was twisted they had to perform a TLIF surgery. I have two rods and 6 bolts in my lower back.”

Due to this unforeseen illness and her medical obstacles, Kim hasn’t been able to work much this year. But, as life is, her bills did not stop when her paycheck did. Kim is the daughter of Rev. Leon & Marion Griffin, and a beloved member of our church family, community and her family. Please help us show Kim her community, friends and family are here to support her.
