Kimberly Shawn Hartsell

It saddens our family to have to share this news. Beloved mother, Kimberly Shawn Hartsell, passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, 2024 of cardiac arrest. She was 54 years old. She leaves behind three children, Kyle (35), Shawn (29) and Felecia (22). Kimberly was a native-born Silvertonian who loved fishing at the reservoir, attending the Homer-Davenport Days, and spending time with her 6 grandchildren. The passing of Kimberly not only leaves a heartache of loss, which her children have to navigate through, but the financial burden of service and burial costs.

Her sudden death has left her sons in a devastating predicament. Not only are they processing the emotions that come with the death of a parent, but they also have been burdened with covering the entire cost of burial and services. Kimberly’s sons are simply trying to honor their mom in the best way possible through a proper service for final goodbyes, but with the lack of financial resources they are caught in a hard situation. They have decided to put pride aside to start this GoFundMe to be able to achieve their goal and properly lay their mother to rest. Anything given makes a difference, an impact and lightens the weight of this loss. The family is beyond grateful for any help they receive during this time. Thank you.
