Hi all, my name is Kennedy and my brother Cori and I, wanted to create this to help lighten the financial load our mom, Kimberly is about to endure as she says "ta-ta" to breast cancer.

For those who know our mom, you know she is a strong, independent woman who works her butt off, and supports the people around her unconditionally. Recently, she was given the news that no one wants to hear. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and is about to undergo a double mastectomy in the hopes that we never have to utter the word cancer in our family again.

This surgery and subsequent recovery is going to put her out of work for at least 2 months and if you know anything about the restaurant biz, you know that paid medical leave isn't an option for her. It is likely no secret that this has been an emotionally difficult time filled with some heavy conversations and feelings. Unfortunately, the bills don't stop and we're hoping to lighten the load financially so that one thing can be taken off her plate so she can stay focused on both her physical and mental recovery.

Any money raised will go to my mom to help support any financial costs she incurs during this particularly tough season of life, be it medical bills, rent, food, etc.
