Our Beloved Kimberly Samson Corcuera

Hi Everyone, My name is Kaycee, and I am fundraising for my beloved best friend Kimmy.

Kimmy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer back in July of 2021, we were all devastated when we heard the news, but we reassured her (her loved ones) that we would all be here for her, alongside her family and that she was not alone in this battle. With her willpower and faith that she would overcome it, she went into remission after a few rounds of chemo in 2022. She felt like a warrior and was very happy to share the news with us. She was able to live a somewhat normal life again. She then decided to marry the love of her life Lorenzo in their hometown back in the Philippines, she was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, the night after their wedding day she was in excruciating pain and had to fly back home and straight to the hospital, to then find out that her cancer was back, but this time more aggressive and worse than before. She never lost hope and never gave up, she fought until her last breath. In my heart, I know that she fought more for us(her loved ones) than for herself. We saw how much she struggled, and how much pain she was in all the time, but she kept fighting until last Sunday, March 10, 2024, she took her last breath surrounded by her family and beloved husband.

I will forever miss her, and I know that she is watching over us. She knows how much I love her and how much she means to me. Kimmy, you are our angel now, no more pain, no more struggling, I hope that you find comfort and peace, we love you!!

We are raising funds to assist with the memorial and funeral costs, we would like to give her our final respect surrounding her with her family, friends and loved ones.
