Kimberly McKenzie Medical Leave

Hi, my name is Karen Tabuchi and I am a stylist at Tranquility Salon Suites with Kimberly McKenzie. As many of you may know being a stylist is an amazing profession but along with it can bring a few down falls. It is hard on our body. After 35 years of being a hairstylist Kimberly has been struggling with arthritis in her thumb (CMC Joint) and it has now collapsed. She will be having surgery on December 28th to repair it with CMC Suspension Sling Arthroplasty. Kimberly will be out of work for a minimum of 4 months with no income. She has her regular monthly bills and needs to cover salon rent of $290/week for a minimum of 4 months to be able to come back to Tranquility Salon Suites to work after recovery. Kimberly has considered getting out of the business but I hate to see her do that, as this is her passion and she loves her loyal guests. She absolutely stressed to me that she hates asking for help, like most of us do. If everyone could come together to help her relieve some monetary stress it would be amazing.
