My mom has always helped others. She works as a nurse, gives every month to feed hungry people in low income countries, and is faithful to her church. She always gives back through church charities and supports anyone in need. Her kindness and faith have touched many lives.
Recently, my mom got very sick with sepsis and had to be put on a ventilator in the hospital for almost two weeks. The medication she was on caused vascular issues to her hands and feet, and she may need possible amputations of fingers and toes. She is also on dialysis and will be going to a long term acute care (LTAC) facility in Indianapolis, then to rehab when she is strong enough.
Money raised will help pay for her medical bills, travel for family to be with her, and keeping up her home while she recovers. My mom is already devastated by her current situation, and it would be heartbreaking for her to come home and find she has no home or unpaid bills waiting for her. We want to make this chapter the least painful as possible and help her focus on healing. My mom has always given to others, and now she needs help and prayers from her community. Any support you can give means so much to us as we go through this hard time together.
