Kimberly Dodge Surgery Fund

I started this to help raise money for my cousin Kimberly Dodge's upcoming surgery and medical bills. She has been suffering from a severe condition of endometriosis for most of her life and as of the last  two years pain has become debilitating and has caused some organ damage. She had a surgery last year to remove the tumors, scar tissue, and to repair the organs, and while that surgery went well, it did not help the pain at all. Her only option now is a partial hysterectomy. Even though she has insurance, with the way the deductible is setup, she has to pay $2,500 up front before they will even do the surgery and then 20% of the total cost after. She has been putting all of the proceeds from her Etsy shop toward the surgery (link will be below if you'd like to see some of her art and help out that way) but I wanted to see if with the help of whatever you might be able to give that we would be able to at the very least make sure she can get it scheduled and possibly help out with the additional costs of the surgery. Right now the surgery is set for July 9th, so let's see if we can make it!




I have never really considered setting up a go fund me previously, but when I found out that she might not be able to have the surgery, my heart went out. She is such an amazing wonderful person, her and her husband Jake have been a huge inspiration and rock in my life probably even more than they realize. She is a phenomenal photographer and inspirational artist. I included their dogs in the picture because they have taken in two amazing rescue dogs (Harry and Hermione)  and have worked with Harry who had a stroke a few years back but yet they have nursed him and given them both wonderful lives throughout everything. I could literally go on for longer than anyone wants to read about all of the wonderful qualities of Kim, but I just wanted to give a glimpse of what you would be helping to restore to her and those around her by donating.
