Hi everyone, for those who don’t know me, my name is Cara Raulerson. I am a long-time and child hood friend of Kimberly’s, and am setting up this go fund me for her most loved boys (Maverick, Mason and David). It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing on February 13, 2024.
For those who knew her, you understand that the world just seems a bit more dim without her in it. She was bubbly and spontaneous, never one to turn down any last-minute road trips or late-night karaoke sessions. She loved the water, and enjoyed many summers at the beach or swimming in her family’s pool. As much as she loved going out, she always enjoyed a good Golden Girls or Murder She Wrote marathon, and making her famous chili.
Family and friendship were also of the utmost importance and her dedication and loyalty to them was unquestionable. She had a sweet spirit, that emanated kindness and love for those that she was closest to.
All of this pales in comparison of course, to the love she had for her children. To say they were her pride and joy is an understatement. Her hopes and dreams for them knew no bounds, and she had worked tirelessly to instill within them the virtue of being the best versions of themselves possible. Clearly, this hit home, as they are continuously on the honor roll, and proud community volunteers. They were truly her heart and soul.
As we will soon be coming together to remember her, I am asking you to support her family during this difficult time. Nothing is too small. Please consider making a donation, and sharing this campaign with friends and family via social media. Through your generosity and contributions, we can ensure the safety and security of her boys, as well as provide for their needs long term.
On behalf of the family, and all those who knew and loved Kimberly, I extend my deepest gratitude for your love and support during this time. Your acts of kindness will be etched into us as we prepare to celebrate the life of a most remarkable soul. May we all find solace and comfort in remembering the joy and warmth that she had brought to us, and may she live on in the memories that we share.
