Kimberley Bartoli's battle of a Lifetime

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for our daughter Kimberley who was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer on June 18th, 2018, at the age of 37. Kim has been fighting this disease for almost 4 1/2 years. In early 2019 , the cancer spread to her bones and in July of that year we were told that it was now in her brain. Kim has had and continues to receive ongoing Chemo and Radiation, including full brain radiation in which she lost her hair and nails for the second time. Kim's spirits are high and she laughs and says she looks like "Uncle Fester" again. With all that she is going through, her son Derek, who has Autism and other health issues has to go to see specialists in Orlando and Weston FL, which worries Kim alot, but with the help of her parents and their love, she can somehow have a little peace of mind, knowing that Derek is being loved and cared for. Kim has an awesome team of Doctors at all three facilities. They work hand in hand to help her battle this disease. Kim has chemo every three weeks at the Florida Cancer Specialists in Stuart. She has had and continues to have many MRI's, CAT Scans, PET Scans, Echos and many other tests at all three facilities local and long distance.  She has had most of her Radiation at the Robert and Carol Weissman Cancer Center and now we have to travel to The Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. This disease has and continues to take its toll Kim and her family. We as her parents have never asked for any help but at this time we have run out of all options. We have exhausted and utilized all of our resources for the care of our daughter, Kim. The funds will be used for all travel related medical expenses such as hotels, gas and meals and whatever expenses she and Derek will need in the future. As she continues to get her treatments and now being accepted into a Clinical Trial program at the Moffitt Center, Kim was told about all the dangers and side effects with these trials. Kim's quote to the Doctors were" Even if it doesn't help me, hopefully it will save someone else ". Although her journey has been trying at times, Kim continues to fight her battle on her own terms. Kim is a thoughtful, caring and loving person that always thinks of others first. So, if you can help a little with this, please do.  We know it is hard times for everyone now, so if it's not possible to help financially,1sending prayers will always make her happy!
Best regards
Michael, Sue, Kim and Derek
