Last year we created this GoFundMe campaign to raise assistance for our cousin, Kimberlee Kandel as she was very hopefully beginning her journey toward a double lung transplant.

Yesterday 2/25/25, after 25 years of illness, repeated misdiagnoses, costly treatments, moves, and hospital stays, she finally got her miracle-- her new lungs! ❤️‍

Kim has a long road ahead, and will require round the clock care for many months, as well as 40+ medications for the rest of her life, all while living off her very small pension and SSDI.

We know she will greatly appreciate any support possible. We as a family are eternally grateful for any monetary help, prayers, and positivity, and we thank you for whatever support you can offer.
