Hi my name is Angel DeSloover-Schwickerath. I'm starting a GoFundMe page for a great friend of mine. Kim and I graduated high school together in 1990! She is an all-around great friend to many! Unfortunately in April of 2021 she was diagnosed with squamous carcinoma. She had surgery for this on June 30th this year. She has fought a brave fight since then with the help of chemo, radiation, transfusions and skin grafts. Sadly complications came from those, putting her in and out of intensive care in Iowa City for a long time. Recently Kim has decided that she wanted to spend the rest of her time at was home with her family, with the help of hospice care. The accrued expenses of the time spent in the hospital, hospice and upcoming funeral will be vast. This family could use our help!
