Hi, my name is Kim Labat I’m 19 years old and I have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I found out about 2 weeks ago, just as I was planning on heading off to University to start the next chapter of my life. This shocked my family and me as we were not expecting something this big. I was always told I had anemia and that it would pass after a few iron supplement treatments and I didn’t expect it to have gotten this far. As I live in a tiny island called Mauritius apart of Africa the medical resources weren't as advanced as a first world country. I was misdiagnosed and went through life feeling horrible for 2 years seeing countless doctors here that were unable to diagnose me until finally, I got the right diagnoses when visiting my family in Portugal. 
I decided to create this page for my family and me to help raise money for my cancer treatment amongst other necessities that come along with having this disease. A lot the money saved for me to go to university will have to go towards my treatment and plane tickets traveling to Portugal again from Africa to get my treatment.
