Kim Wilding - Medical Expenses Fundraiser

Friends and Family,

 

We are Kim's sisters (Becky and Vicki). Kim has been facing an extensive list of medical issues which have compounded and come to a head this year. She has had multiple trips to the ER for several complications, not the least of which is an imminent amputation of her right leg below the knee. This procedure has yet to happen.

 

Kim had the first of two surgeries on her foot this week. This procedure removed the infection in her foot, and the second will be to close operative wounds. Bone biopsy results are pending. She will be sent home next week potentially with wound vac, IV antibiotics, and skilled nursing to tend to her foot, which is in a very fragile state.

 

This period at home will allow her to build strength to adapt to a future with a prosthetic limb.

 

Kim will need adaptive medical equipment, additional medical procedures, hospital stays, home nursing, and surgeries, all while on disability leave from work. These are the details we have right now. We ask for and appreciate your support in her time of need. Thank you.
