Kim Skeen (Sparenberg) (Chaille)

Kim is a mother of three young children. Taylor (14), Reagan (12), and Mikey (3). She is an active member of the Three Rivers Local School Community and her church Cheviot United Methodist. Kim is an amazing mother, wife, aunt, daughter, and friend to many. Kim started having severe abdominal pain. Surgery to remove her gallbladder soon followed. While operating, the doctors found an abnormal growth on her ovary. It was biopsied and diagnosed as cancer. It has been a world wind since that day. With more testing, it is believed the cancer originated in her appendix which is uncommon. The cancer is in her colon and abdominal wall. She will be having surgery Tuesday to remove the ovary and part of the colon. Kim will then face chemo and more surgery to treat the spots on her abdominal wall. Because of the type of Chemo needed, Kim will likely have to travel to a Cancer Treatment Center for part of her treatment. Kim is self employed as a Hair Stylist at Top of the Line and will not be able to work. Her husband will have to take time off of work to care for her. It is because of this that I am asking for your assistance. There is no donation to small....or large. Kim will appreciate anything you can spare.
