My mum, Kim Richardson-Robinson (Kim Jack), was diagnosed with a rare blood clotting condition, liver disease and also contracted Covid while she was in the hospital. Having Covid, as you may have imagined, exacerbated her already hard to manage symptoms and effected both her prognosis and made it harder to receive different types of treatment for her liver. She was in and out of hospital for a few months until Dr’s could really let us know what was going on, and by then, it was mostly too late to do anything during the pandemic. She was scared to let people know about her prognosis as she didn't want to scare anyone, especially the past few weeks, but she did want this GoFundMe page to go out and explain her situation a little bit to those that may not know/understand.
To anyone that knew my mum, she was one of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Words just can't summarize how much myself and many others admired, loved and cared for her. She was both a Police Officer and a Teacher for the Deaf, she spent her entire life helping others, and those that are most vulnerable, whether they were human, or animals. She loved being able to make a lasting impact on someone else’s life and often cared more about others than herself. She deeply cared about those that she loved and taught, and wanted to do anything to make sure they succeeded in life.
She asked me to create this GoFundMe page about 2 weeks before she passed away as she was worried about whatever costs she might leave to those she loved and asked me to release it if that time ever actually happened. She was still in her final days, of course, caring more about what would happen to those she loved, rather than herself, who had been suffering through a hell she didn't deserve. Unfortunately, that time has come and I have had to release this page. Both myself and John Robinson (Husband) are currently trying to handle funeral arrangements/unpredictable costs that have occurred, and would greatly appreciate any help that anyone is able to offer/give.
Any funds raised from this cause will go directly towards funeral costs and any other unpredictable costs that may occur with her unexpected death, anything left will go towards trying to maintain a similar sense of life for family members.
