Help Kim Page Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer

Hi, my name is Carolina, and I’m reaching out with all my heart to ask for your help. My dear friend Kim Page is in the fight of her life against stage 4 colon cancer. She’s a loving mother to the most beautiful 12-year-old girl, Madalyn, and a light in the lives of everyone who knows her.

I got a call from Kim in December . We’ve been friends for over a decade, and even though we live far apart, we’ve always stayed close. She’s always been a funny, loving person, so when I answered the phone, I expected her to say something that would make me laugh. But instead, with a trembling voice, she said, “I’ve got cancer and it looks like it’s metastasized”. I was in shock—angry at the universe for doing this to her.

The past two months have been intense—doctor’s appointments, harsh chemo—but the truth is, the chemo isn’t working as we had hoped. Yesterday, she called me again, this time to share that she’s choosing a different path, one that involves alternative healing treatments. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance.

Kim is a hardworking, single mom, and she needs our help. Medical bills are overwhelming, and in her case, even more so.

I am asking for your kindness and generosity to help us raise the funds needed to give Kim a fighting chance. She is a warrior, a mother, the most special friend, a source of love and inspiration to so many. The world needs her light, and Madelyn needs her mom.
