I would like to tell you about my sister in law Kim. She is a wonderful mother and wife. A total animal lover as well as an amazing dog groomer. Always there to help anyone with anything.

Recently Kim noticed a lump in her breast. She went to get a mammogram and it did not come back clear. She then had to go to get ultrasound and see a surgeon to remove the mass. The mass was removed and a biopsy of the lymph nodes was done at the same time.
Sadly the cancer has spread to the nodes. Kim’s diagnoses is invasive lobular carcinoma with positive sentinole lymph node.

Kim’s oncologist has her course of action as 7 weeks of radiation 5 times a week. Chemo starts July 20 -4 cycles with 21 days apart. Kim also has to go 2 times a week for blood work to monitor her blood disease TTP (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura). Her doctor informed her that the chemo could trigger her TTP to flair up.

Being diagnosed with cancer is enough to deal with now with COVID-19 both Kim and Paul her husband are self employed. They live in Florida and cannot collect due to being self employed. Kim no longer can work and won’t be able to for some time with her treatments ending not till November. Paul has very little work with the virus no one wants anyone entering their home to do handy work.

So I decided to ask for help for my sister and brother in law. No one should have to worry about money to be able to afford treatments for cancer. They have no income and cannot collect unemployment.

The radiation every time she has a treatment she has a high copay this will be five days a week for 6 weeks .Blood work 2 times a week each time a co pay. Each pet scan is $250 they have to pay.

This fund is to help cover expenses for Kim and her family with cancer treatments . As well as tests and any other expense that they will encounter forward.

We are asking for positivity and prayers during this time.
