Hey there, it's Kim As many of you reading this already know, recently I was unfortunately rear ended while in my car at a stoplight and the driver that hit me fled the scene. Thankfully, I was ok aside from some minor whiplash that I've been taking good care of. My car is fixable and being worked on, but was not drivable due to the exhaust being totally smashed and some other under carriage damage pressing on my tire. The problem I have with all this is being unable to pay for my insurance deductible of $1,500. I've waited three weeks now for the police to try and find the driver that fled, and unfortunately they haven't been able to and I really need my car back ASAP. It's been a very difficult year for me financially, plus just a couple months ago I had to unexpectedly take out a high interest loan and borrow from family to replace the transmission in my car, so I'm still scrambling to recover from that and make the payments. I am very low income as I'm disabled and a full time caretaker to my disabled child, so picking up more work isn't an option at this time. I know finances are really tight for most these days and it's really difficult for me to even ask for help with this, but I really don't have much for options, so any little bit would help tremendously. I am currently going to school for massage therapy and am just about ready to start practicing on people outside of school, so that is something I have to offer in return!
