On August 31st, 2025, Kim Huebner became extremely ill and passed away due to natural causes. We are in complete shock in losing our mom because she was much happier and getting healthier right before becoming suddenly sick. This has deeply affected us because her absence is very painfully felt in everything we do. My grandmother, father, and now my mother, have all passed away on Labor Day weekend making this tragedy even harder.

She loved penguins, reading, experiencing new things, and something she would always say even about this post itself, “What will they think of next!?!?”

The mortuary is quoting us $6,500 for the barest minimum memorial services for our mom. My sister and I are trying to allow ourselves the grace of asking for help in this way since, like our mother, we never want to be a burden on anyone.
