Hi, I’m Kris and I am fundraising for my sister, Kim. She does not like to ask for help but with getting a double cancer diagnosis all within the last 4 months or so, she has no other choice. This is not something she takes lightly but she needs your help if you are able. (PS. Prayers and positive thoughts are always welcome!) I wanted to post this after her first cancer surgery in January but like the stubborn person she is, she tried to handle it all. The second cancer diagnosis really threw her for a loop. After nine years of prioritizing her husband's health as his caregiver, she has been dealt a double blow: first with uterine cancer, and now with a diagnosis of breast cancer. January of this year saw Kim undergo a total hysterectomy, and mid-May (just a couple of weeks away) will bring a double mastectomy. As the sole financial provider for her family, her inability to work during these health crises has left them facing significant financial strain, let alone emotional strain. She and her family had just moved and she started a new commission based job just before learning of her diagnosis. The last thing she needs is to be stressed out financially and lose her new home while she heals from her surgeries. The stress of this diagnosis alone is already taking its toll. This woman is a hardworking bad-a$$ who has always been generous to anyone who needs help in any way shape or form and she really needs our help right now.
